Saturday 12 December: Global Action Day on Climate
Protesters gathered today in Copenhagen to urge world’s leaders to seal a deal before the end of the summit: “We demand that world leaders take the urgent and resolute action that is needed to prevent the catastrophic destabilisation of global climate ».
The demonstration started in central Copenhagen at 1pm and arrived at 5pm at the Bella Center, where the summit is taking place. 30 000 to 100 000 people from environmental organisations and activists groups joined the movement.
